OUR POLICY FOR ALL 2020 WEDDING BOOKINGS

Dear customers,

The safety and welfare of our clients and employees is of the utmost importance to us. In accordance with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, we wanted to update you to ensure that you’re properly informed.

Most of us are facing very difficult, unprecedented times. The Bali Wedding is not an exception. Our company has serious financial obligations, agreements with partners and payrolls, which must be executed within this year. If we do not organise - or not enough - events in 2020, we may not survive. If this were to be the case, all weddings would have to be cancelled with no refund. Today we have the legal right to act based on the wedding agreements with our customers. However, we have done our best to find win-win solutions for all parties: our newlyweds, employees and contractors. In short, to avoid collapse, we are asking for you to have your wedding within 3 months from when you are able to travel again. As your wedding planner, we are ready to provide all previously agreed services in full.

Our policy for all bookings of 2020:

1. Your event can be rescheduled not earlier than 60 days before the initially planned wedding date, and for only COVID-19 related reasons: borders of the countries are closed (of both: Indonesia and your country of origin), commercial flights are not available and, in case of travel, you will be required to take government-enforced quarantined in Bali or in your home country after your return.

2. Your wedding event must be organised within 3 months (90 days) from the day borders of the countries are reopened (of both: Indonesia and your country of origin), commercial flights are available and, in case of travel, you will not be government-enforced quarantined in Bali or in your home country after your return.

3. The current date status of all rescheduled events is: “to be confirmed” (TBC). Once the borders reopen, your wedding expert will get in touch with you within the first week to discuss your new wedding date.

4. If you have travel insurance and wish to cancel your booking, we will supply you with the necessary paperwork to file a claim with your insurance company. Please also note: an exact execution of this policy may vary as different vendors may have specific varying policies.

In spite of all these challenges, we want to assure you that The Bali Wedding remains firmly focused on the future and serving you, our newlyweds. We also want to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for your loyalty and we hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and well throughout this difficult time.
