Legal wedding arrangement

Even if Indonesia is not your place of residence, it is possible to have an official legal wedding in Bali. You will need to plan in advance and begin the process about two months before to make sure that all of the correct paperwork is ready.  Be sure to register the Certificate of no Impediment to Marriage in Indonesia either at your consulate in Indonesia or in your home country. You will be required to submit this certificate along with proof that you and your partner follow the same religion. There is likely to be both a religious and legal ceremony, and your wedding will be attended two representatives, one from Indonesian Civil Registry office and the other a representative of your religion. You will get both Religious and Official marriage certificate in Indonesian and English languages and will become officially registered under Indonesian law.
